Raining on Their Parade: Roman Holiday Eludes T's, Virus Doesn't

Dateline Normandy -- Thwarted in their initial attempt for a Roman Holiday in November because of late illness, the T's were foiled once again, drowning out their spirits and hopes for pizza, pasta and the pope. After a joyful time of waiting in the airport for 4 1/2 hours for a plane that never came, the T's hauled it back to Normandy, their mood as damp as the Chateau Blanc lawn. But exciting times were awaiting at home as all three caught a stomach virus at the same time, making up for any fun they may have missed in Italy. All have mostly recovered, albeit a few kilos lighter, so another trip somewhere will need to be planned to lift the winter fog (destinations requiring air travel are temporarily boycotted). Maybe it's time for more mussels and fries in Belgium or could it be the Brittany coast that's calling? ~30~

What an appropriate picture to accompany your gloomy account of such exciting times. The T's are truly having a miserable winter and even more miserable attempts at travel. Whew!!!! I am worn out just reading your pitiful times. Hope you are all better and life in general is improving. Hope the "sickness" takes a holiday away from the T's for a long time.

I am so tired of checking each day to see if I have an update and seeing that damn horse. Glad you are feeling like writing, Stephen, or at least forcing yourself to write. I am always happy to hear from all of you.

Thanks again!
