Crummy Summer's Last Days Fade in Normandy; T's Now Falling for Fall

Dateline Normandy -- The second straight summer that wasn't is history and autumn's crisp days have so far brought much-needed dry and sunny days. July and August really should be ashamed of themselves - a pitiful effort indeed. Now that the T's have their new gas furnace in place, Chateau Blanc is finally chasing away the damp blues that had started to invade the walls and the cool nights give way to evenings/aperitifs beside a roaring fire. P has taken advantage of the dry times by helping feed the geese and ducks, taking rides on the tractor and tracking the whereabouts of Herbert the Sherbert, our new resident hedgehog who has taken a liking to the grounds of CH. ~30~
