P, Parents Pine for Sea and Sand as Summer (Again) Neglects Normandy

The wet weather puts P in a pensive mood....

But when rare sun rays appear, his spirits pick up and garden work calls....

Apple and pear break for P and G

P taking care of some vaccuming bizness

G can't get enough of the pears...

Then as rain arrives, it's nap time...

Dateline Normandy -- Already halfway through August and the T's are about ready to call it another missed summer season. In fact, they're getting rather tired of griping and whining about the weather but the wet and cool stuff has once again dominated with a few delightful days here and there. So P and Co. are looking forward to a week of sea and sand and hopefully super sunny weather on the southern French Atlantic coast at the end of the month as maybe their last chance for summer. In the meantime, P-Man has been passing time by nabbing blackberries and apples in the orchard and lending a helping hand (as seen in above photos) around the house and in the garden. Let the coastal countdown begin...~30~

Am so impressed with your farming skills. Veggies look so impressive. When do you have time to garden?

The most impressive creation is Perry! He just keeps keeping more and more beautiful. Just hate he will never know us the way we would like!

Thanks, Stephen, for your time and for sharing your photography skills with us! I often think about all the wonderful scenes and stories we would miss!

Dears, There is PLENTY of sunshine in the Hill Country of Texas, albeit a tad humid . . .and lack of rain prevents much success in the vegatable garden . . .so, come when you can, as we say in the South!
