Gaston Finds New Pal; `Buddy' Wears Out Welcome

Dateline Normandy -- Out of the giant laurel hedges came a large, skinny Weimaraner with Gaston in tow. Turns out the intruder entered through a large hole in what used to be a locked entrance to the back garden that's never used. And how did the hole get there? (See ''Tipsy Neighbor'' article). The intruder dog turns out to be a friendly chap and he and Gaston romped around the yard, taking turns marking different plants.
We assumed the dog was lost given his skinny state and no collar, but we soon tracked down the owner thanks to the tattoo in its ear. Too bad, C was ready to adopt the beast. S too. Gaston seemed indifferent, even a bit happy to see him go. Not enough love to go around, he says. Selfish hound....~30~

Hey all. What an incredible place. One day we would love to bring the girls over for a visit. And of course to meet Perry. I love to make omelets and do house projects. That is to say I will cook and clean for you in exchange for your hospitality. Enjoy your holiday. Much love, Baird
