Tensions Ease on Sheep Front; Standoff Ends After Diplomatic Push

Dateline Normandy -- Just as soon as the sheep-field confrontation heated up between Jacky and Jean-Jacques, tensions eased after the two worked for a diplomatic cooling of the situation. Apparently there was a misunderstanding on the sheep switch-a-roo and while Jacky was still left perturbed, he decided to diffuse the issue and has now taken his sheep out for the winter. Jean-Jacque's are scheduled to be removed by Nov. 15 before returning next spring, when another brouhaha is bound to erupt. (photos -- Gaston patrolling the grounds from the evil wooly beasts.) -30~
