Dateline Normandy -- A nasty scare after the G-dog had a massively painful herniated disc in his back that needed emergency and delicate surgery. All went well and le chien dog is back chez lui, slowly getting back to his old self if not a bit sore and tired. He did chow on two old apples in the orchard, so we know he's getting back on track.
