Rome Is Where the Heart Is - and the Pizza

3 minutes at Trevi Fountain

"Where dem lions?"

P at Palantine

Outside the Vatican

Taking a break on a rather old stone from Emperor Augustus's palace at Palatine Hill

Dateline Normandy -- Bamboozled in two prior attempts to make it to Gladiator City, the Ts finally landed in Rome to surp up history, pizza, coffee and pizza. And pizza too. The threesome took in the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, Palantine Hill (where Romulus and Remus were found by that she-wolf) as well as the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and of course, the Coliseum. P seemed most taken by the gigantic stadium after learning that lions used to prowl inside the premises. Le petit also impressed the locals with his Italian, belting out ``ciao,'' ``prego'' and ``arriverderci'' in no particular order while in museums, restaurants or just to people in the street. But like his parents, P-Man seemed most thrilled with the local grub, with pizza making up 95% of everyone's diet over the four-day rompus. While dining out one night, P, overly excited about diving into yet another pizza pie, let out a ``Roll Tide'' out of nowhere. We're quite sure no one there could translate. ~30~
