Taking a pause chez elle
Some of the apple trees due for a trim
Dateline Normandy -- Recent wind storms throughout France have fortunately spared Chateau Blanc except for leaving tractor loads of branches for S to pick up. Not spared by ill winds has been the P-Man, who was hit by a massive stomach virus. The little one was OUT and required massive pampering - even feeding him fortified liquids milliliter by milliliter through a syringe after he became so dehydrated and wouldn't drink. Slowly he recovered and appears almost back up to full strength. Once he starts terrorizing Gaston again we'll know for sure. Otherwise, in other Chateau Blanc updates: S has begun tackling spring garden duties and has knocked off all pruning of roses and fruit trees - a bigger task than imagined. Chuck the Duck has returned to his people at the duck pond, leaving behind his adopted chicken family across the way. He also appears to have a special somebody at his side at all times. Ounja the horse is expecting a little one sometime this month and she appears in good health. Bulbs are starting to sprout, spurring hopes of warm and drier spring and summer weather, though the T's have learn to dampen expectations on that front. Still, they're looking forward to sunsets at 10 p.m. and to the end of winter's ills. ~30~

Sooooo sorry P has been so sick! Wish we were close enough to help him through his "ills." Whew! Was worn out checking for new updates and am thrilled to catch up on the T's. Spring is arriving here and we are loving every degree and ray of sunshine. Going to Georgia's end of this this week for about 10 days. Am anxious to see her and the children. Thanks again, Stephen! Love to all of you........
