P-Man Pounces on Paris; T's Say "Let Us Eat Cake!''

P admiring the "Flying Buts" of Notre Dame...

Paris time = cafe time = rose' time

Dateline Paris -- The T's were in need of a bit of Bright Lights, Big City, so a weekend in the French capital was just what the doctor ordered. P Man appeared enthralled by the sounds and sights, a not-so-subtle contrast to La Vie in Limesy. On tap were lazy drinks and eats at our favorite haunts in the 5th arrondissement. While the quarters were tight at Studio T, P enjoyed the new confines and kept himself busy exploring new things to poke, shake and break. S and C took advantage of their Parisian babysitter to eat at one of their favorite spots -- an authentic Mexican restaurant in Paris just across the street, and explored another local, new fabulous eatery the next night. Capping the weekend was a visit to see the Marie Antoinette expo at the Grand Palais. P was a bit agitated, likely due to the spooky dim lighting, so the T's hustled quickly through the exhibit - an interesting highlight was seeing the night gown that the queen wore during her imprisonment at Temple just before her execution. Quite fascinating to see up close if not a bit eery. In any case, a fine weekend getaway, while the tranquility of Chateau Blanc was certainly appreciated upon the T's return. ~30~
